Since November 2022, miVital AG has met all the criterias in order to obtain the Swiss Medic license nessecary to manufacture medicinal products. Behind the approval are two years of dedicated hard work, in which all employees were intensively involved. The laboratory concept was certified, various work processes and the manufacturing facility were validated and all rooms were qualified in order to meet the control requirements of Swiss Medic standards.
All systems, devices and scales used must also be capable of being qualified in accordance with these specifications. "We have made many new hardware investments and, in addition to the great use of our human resources, have also invested a considerable amount," says Daniel Strasser.
With the Swissmedic operating license, miVital AG also obtains Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
